ALBA BERLIN
The ALBA Berlin U13 team has, for the most part, been playing together since the U9s. Of course, a few players have joined over the years. But as a result, the team has great team chemistry and many of them are friends outside of basketball too. The team is motivated, they put their heart and soul into everything they do, and they’re all good lads who, above all, enjoy themselves. That’s the 2013 cohort of ALBA BERLIN in a nutshell

BC Belleflamme
Our basketball team (BC Belleflamme) is located in Belgium (Liège area - French Speaking Part and East Side of Belgium). The team is made up of enthusiastic young players aged from 10 to 12 years old, who share a passion for the game and a strong team spirit. At this age, basketball is not only about learning skills, but also about having fun, growing together, and building confidence.
Throughout the season, the players develop the fundamentals of basketball such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and defending, while also learning essential values like respect, effort, teamwork, and fair play. Every training session and every game is an opportunity to improve, to support teammates, and to enjoy the game.
The focus of the team is on progress and enjoyment, rather than results alone. Each player is encouraged to try, to make mistakes, and to learn in a positive and supportive environment. As coaches, we guide our players with patience and enthusiasm, helping them grow both as athletes and as young individuals.
Our team is not about stars, it’s about belonging. Each player has a role, receives attention, and feels valued. Playing time, responsibility, and trust are shared so that everyone grows together, not just a few.
What makes our team stand out is how we play:
- We compete with intensity
- We respect teammates and opponents
- We show discipline and commitment
These values matter on the court and far beyond basketball.
Above all, the team represents energy, friendship, and a love for basketball, creating memories that go far beyond the court.
All the team members are very excited to take part of this tournament and show to everyone that in Belgium, we can also play basketball. Looking forward to it!

Berliner Basketball Verband & Berlin United
The Berlin State Association is represented by two teams this year. The 2014 regional selection team (Berlin United) is made up of players from various Berlin clubs. Players from ALBA Berlin will not be taking part, as they will also be competing in the tournament with their club in the U13 division. The 2014 Berlin regional selection team is coached by Konstantin Lwowsky, who served as sporting director at NINERS CHEMNITZ between 2017 and 2020 and is all the more delighted to be able to take part in this tournament with his team. His assistants are Hannes Müller and Nicholas Behne. Janosch Lwowsky, the coach’s son, will also be there as a team support staff member. For all players born in 2014, it is also a matter of performing well at the tournament in order to continue playing a key role in the team, which will begin training together weekly after the summer holidays. It is the team’s first tournament together, so the focus will be on gelling quickly and overcoming the initial challenges with great determination.

Eanna
We are a U12 basketball team from the south side of Dublin, Ireland, with players born in 2014 and 2015. Our squad has a strong multi-sport background, with many of the boys also playing soccer, rugby, and Ireland’s native GAA sports, hurling and Gaelic football. That athleticism and competitiveness carry over onto the basketball court.
We play with energy, teamwork and determination, and we aim to improve every time we compete while proudly representing our club and community. The team is supported by a head coach, assistant coach and team manager who work together to promote development, sportsmanship and a positive team culture.
We’re excited to play fast, high-level basketball that will challenge us and help us improve as a team. We’re also looking forward to meeting new teams, experiencing different cultures, and building friendships while growing closer as a group.

Hittfeld Sharks
We are the Hittfeld Sharks and play in Hamburg in the top division for players born in 2013 and younger. Hittfeld is located south of Hamburg and south of the River Elbe. This means we are actually part of Lower Saxony, but we play in Hamburg. Our club won the German M14 Championship back in 2009 and competed in the JBBL with the Hamburg Sharks for thirteen years up until 2022. Our greatest success was reaching the JBBL Top 4 in 2013 and winning two Best Defence awards during that period. With Justus Hollatz, a former Sharks player (up to JBBL level) and current European and World Champion, our children and young people are always motivated to give their best. Following the pandemic, the 2013 age group is the first to be reintroduced to competitive sport. Our team is looking forward to the challenge of competing against teams from other federal states and abroad. Above all, however, they are looking forward to spending a great weekend together as a team in the beautiful city of Chemnitz. Thank you very much for hosting the tournament.

MLP Academics Heidelberg
We are Team Academics Heidelberg and we’re based in beautiful Heidelberg on the River Neckar. As the youth team of a basketball club with a rich history, we stand for passion, team spirit and intense basketball. Full of energy and excitement, we’re travelling to Chemnitz for the 4th Noah-Berge-Cup and are delighted to be part of this tournament.
Our team is characterised by unity, commitment and a love of the game. On the court, we aim to impress with pace, aggressive defence and teamwork. Every player contributes their individual strengths, but the focus is always on the team. We support one another, fight for one another and give our all in every match.
Alongside our sporting ambition, camaraderie is also important to us. Respect for opponents, coaches and referees is just as much a part of this as fairness and enthusiasm for the game. Tournaments like the Noah-Berge-Cup are a great opportunity for us to measure ourselves against other strong teams, gain new experiences and continue to grow together as a team.
We are looking forward to exciting matches, a great atmosphere and lots of new experiences in Chemnitz.

SV Zörbig Farmers
In the “new federal states”, Zörbig is best known as the “jam town”; over time, this rural character has given rise to the nickname “Farmers”, which has now become an integral part of the town’s identity. For several years now, we have been a regular feature of the MDL with our 2013 vintage (and younger) and have established ourselves well here. We are very much looking forward to meeting familiar and new faces at the Noah-Berge Cup!

Tygři Praha
Tygři Praha U12 are defending the national championship title this year. The team participated in two BBBL tournaments, where they faced very strong teams from Latvia, Estonia, Finland, and Poland. The tournaments gave us a lot of new experiences, and we hope to show good basketball at the Noah Berge Cup tournament.
Tigers Prague U13, just like their younger colleagues, are preparing for the Czech Republic Championship. This team mainly has tall players, and our game will hopefully be aggressive and fast on both halves of the court. At the Noah Berge Cup, we hope to show good basketball.
