The following lists examples of competition systems for 12, 16 and 20 teams. Fixture lists may vary depending on the total number of participants in the tournament.
There may be deviations from the competition systems shown here as examples, and participants will be notified of any such changes in good time.
Competition system 12 Teams
Group phase
The 12 participating teams are divided into 2 groups (A and B) of 6 teams each. Each team will play against every other team of the group (five games for each team).
Final phase
The placements will be decided with cross games between the two groups. The teams in first and second place will play for the places 1 to 4. The teams in third and fourth place will play for the places 5 to 8. The teams in fifth and sixed place will play for the places 9 to 12 (two games for each team).

Competition system 16 Teams
Group phase
The 16 participating team are divided into 4 groups (A, B, C and D) of 4 teams each. Each team will play against every other team of the group (three games for each team).
Final phase
All teams will play in the Round of 16 according to their group phase ranking and will play of for the places 1 to 16 (four games for each team).

Competition system 20 Teams
Group phase
The 20 participating teams are divided into 4 groups (A, B, C, and D) of 5 teams each. Each Team will play against every other team of the group (four games for each team).
Final phase
The first four teams of each group will qualify for the Round of 16 and will play of for the places 1 to 16 (four games for each team). The teams in fifth place of each group compete against each other for the places 17 to 20 (three games for each team).
